Add blackberries and blueberries to a pan and cook on a low heat so the fruit breaks down.

The fruit will become syrupy. You can use the back of a wooden spoon to press it further to release the juices.

Take the pan off the heat and tip the chia seeds into it.

Stir well so the chia seeds combine into the blackberry jam, and leave to cool for 10 minutes.
