This rhubarb compote is easily made with delicious fresh fruit, butter and maple syrup for topping your breakfast or dessert recipes!

Ingredients

De-core the apples and dice into small pieces.

Dice the rhubarb into small pieces, of roughly the same size as the apples.

Melt the butter in a pan add the rhubarb and apple pieces and maple syrup.

Bring the compote to a simmer, then reduce the heat and cook for 12 minutes or until softened, stirring occasionally.
