Shred peeled potatoes and onion using a grater.

Place the grated potato and onion in a clean cloth and wring out the liquid.

Combine shredded potato, onion, egg, flour, herbs, seasoning and garlic powder and stir well.

Drizzle oil in a skillet. Add 3-4 tbsp of the fritter batter and press down with a spatula. Cook on a medium heat for 3-4 minutes each side.
