Ingredients

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 300F / 150C and line a baking sheet with non-stick parchment paper.
  • De-core the apples and slice thinly. Place on a lined baking sheet and sprinkle with the spices. Bake for around 45 minutes or until they have dried and gone a little wrinkly. They should be crisp on the edges but still soft in the middle. Set aside to cool on a wire rack.
  • Combine the apples (cutting into halves or quarters if you wish) with the other ingredients and transfer to your serving bowl.

Notes

  • Don't cut the apple slices too thinly or they will burn! But not too thick either as they will be very 'pulpy', if that makes sense!
  • Low histamine readers may wish to use only cardamom or no spice at all.
