Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390F / 200C for 3 minutes.
  • Slice the sweet mini peppers in half, lengthways. Remove the seeds with a small spoon, but leave the stalk intact.
  • Add the mini bell peppers to a bowl with the olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Use your hands to coat the peppers.
  • Place the peppers in your air fryer basket, with a little room in between them if possible, and in a single layer. Air fry at 390F for 7 minutes (for minimal charring) or for 12 minutes for more charring, to preference. Check the peppers after 5 minutes for their level of doneness. Use tongs to flip the peppers or shake the basket, and continue to air fry as needed.
  • Use tongs to remove the peppers from the air fryer basket as they will be very hot.

Notes

  • Cook time will vary slightly, depending upon the size of your mini sweet bell peppers and whether your air fryer tends to run hot.
  • Always check the basket after 5 minutes to see how charred the mini peppers are.
