2 Ingredient Mango Sorbet (without Ice Cream Maker)

This easy no churn mango sorbet is fun and fruity, and the perfect summer dessert. With only two ingredients, it comes together in less than 20 minutes. Vegan, gluten free and low histamine.

Equipment

  • Blender or food processor
  • Ice cream scoop optional

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen mango
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

  • If freezing your own mango, do so about 3-4 hours before making your sorbet. Using frozen mango chunks from the store also works!
  • Add the frozen mango and maple syrup to a blender. Pulse blend, scraping down the sides with a spatula or wooden spoon as needed, until it is smooth and creamy in texture. It first resembles rice, then will become smooth.

Notes

  • Make sure your mango chunks are frozen when you begin. If it is warmer you will get more of a smoothie than a sorbet!
  • Adjust the amount of maple syrup to taste preference.
  • Blending the mango will warm it slightly so it will have a softer consistency. If you prefer a more 'icy' texture then return to the freezer for it to set again.
