- 2 green apples cut into chunks
- ¼ cup arugula or kale, optional
- ½ small cucumber diced
- ½ celery stick diced
- 1 tablespoon mint leaves
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger optional, amount to taste
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup optional, amount to taste
- handful ice optional
Dice the fruit and vegetables, as well as the ginger.
Gradually feed all the ingredients into the juicer to extract the juice. Pour into your glass and serve immediately.
- If you prefer a sweeter taste, then use a red apple instead. Green apples such as Granny smith apples tend to be a little tart to taste.
- Adjust the amount of ice to taste preference, if using, adding a cube at a time so you don't make it too watery.
- If you don't have a juicer you can blend the ingredients and then strain through a cheesecloth.
