Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 green apples cored, diced
  • ½ inch root ginger peeled, roughly diced
  • ¼ inch turmeric root peeled, diced
  • 1 cup kale stems removed
  • 1 cup coconut water or plain water
  • ice to preference

Instructions

  • Remove the cores from the green apples, and dice into small pieces. Use a small spoon to peel the skins from the ginger and turmeric, and remove any tough stems from the kale.
  • Add the diced apples, ginger, turmeric, kale and coconut water (or water) to a blender. Blend until well combined. Adjust with ice to preference.

Notes

  • Use green apples for a more tart taste, or red apples for more sweetness.
  • If coconut water doesn't work for you, simply swap for chilled water.
