- 2 rooibos tea bags
- ½ cup plant milk of preference
- ½ cup hot water
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- ice to preference
Place two rooibos tea bags in a heat safe mug or glass. Pour on half a cup of boiling water, pour in the maple syrup and stir. Set aside so the tea steeps for 5-10 minutes. The longer you leave it, the stronger it will be. To make it even stronger, press the tea bags against the side of your mug with a spoon.
Add ice cubes to your serving glass, then pour on the milk of choice.
Remove the tea bags from your mug or glass. Pour the tea into the serving glass, and stir. Serve immediately and enjoy!
- Make sure to steep the tea for at least 5 minutes, to make sure you have lots of flavor.
- Add the maple syrup to the hot water as it won't dissolve well in cold milk.
- Use plenty of ice cubes as the tea is hot.
