Ingredients

  • 2 rooibos tea bags
  • ½ cup plant milk of preference
  • ½ cup hot water
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • ice to preference

Instructions

  • Place two rooibos tea bags in a heat safe mug or glass. Pour on half a cup of boiling water, pour in the maple syrup and stir. Set aside so the tea steeps for 5-10 minutes. The longer you leave it, the stronger it will be. To make it even stronger, press the tea bags against the side of your mug with a spoon.
  • Add ice cubes to your serving glass, then pour on the milk of choice.
  • Remove the tea bags from your mug or glass. Pour the tea into the serving glass, and stir. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure to steep the tea for at least 5 minutes, to make sure you have lots of flavor.
  • Add the maple syrup to the hot water as it won't dissolve well in cold milk.
  • Use plenty of ice cubes as the tea is hot.
