Equipment

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1 tablespoon oats gluten free, if required
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter or other nut or seed butter
  • ice to preference

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend, and adjust with ice to preference.
  • Pour into your glass and top with some fresh fruit or seeds if you like!

Notes

  • I do suggest to use frozen blueberries rather than fresh blueberries for a thicker, creamy fruit smoothie.
  • Adjust with more fruit or milk to get the consistency you prefer - some of us like it thicker, others thinner!
  • Use certified gluten free oats if required.
  • Add ice to preference.
