- 12 cherries fresh or frozen (thawed)
- 4 mint leaves
- sparkling water
- ice
Use a cherry pitter or straw to remove the stones from the cherries. Slice the cherries into quarters (or smaller if the cherries are larger in size).
Add the cherries and the mint leaves to your glasses. Use a muddler or wooden spoon to mash the cherries so they release their juices and break down into small pieces.
Tip ice cubes into your glasses, then top with sparkling water. Garnish with a fresh cherry and mint leaves and enjoy!
- Use fresh ripe cherries so they break down and release their juices. Under-ripe cherries won't be as soft.
- Frozen cherries can also be used, just be sure to thaw them before use.
