Preheat the air fryer for 3 minutes at 390F / 200C.
If the baby carrots seem wet (often the case with pre-prepared carrots I find), pat dry with a paper towel.
Add the baby carrots to a bowl and drizzle in the olive oil. Sprinkle in the herbs, garlic powder, salt and black pepper and toss to coat the carrots.
Spread the carrots in your air fryer basket in an even layer with a little space in between them. You may need to cook in batches if you have a smaller air fryer.
Air fry the carrots for 10 minutes at 390F / 200C, shaking the basket halfway through the cook time. Check they are fork tender, and air fry for a further 2-3 minutes if required. Use tongs to remove the carrots as the basket will be very hot.
- If the baby carrots seem wet, pat dry with a paper towel before you toss in the olive oil and herbs.
- Leave a little space between the carrots so the air in the basket can circulate around them.
