- 3 cups frozen peaches
- 1.5 cups apple juice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- ice to preference
Add the frozen peaches, apple juice and maple syrup (or honey) to a high powered blender.
Blend to a thick slushy-like consistency, adding ice to thicken to preference. To thin, add a splash more apple juice. Pour into your serving glasses.
- If you can't find a bag of frozen peaches, do check out my peach kale smoothie recipe as it has directions on how to freeze fresh peaches. I also often use a mixed bag of frozen peaches and nectarines.
- Adjust the ratio of the frozen peaches and apple juice to get a frozen peach drink that you like best. More frozen peaches or ice will thicken, more juice will loosen the texture.
- If using honey, the drink won't be suitable for a vegan diet.

All the ingredients score 0 on the SIGHI list, but if store-bought apple juice doesn't work for you, I suggest to use homemade apple juice from fresh apples.
