This apple juice mocktail has a delicious sweetness, hint of spice and is so light and refreshing! Easy to make in less than 10 minutes, it's equally delicious for summer parties or as a fall apple mocktail for gatherings with friends and family.

Love the apple flavors? Have a peek at my green apple mocktail for another tasty drink idea!

The beauty of this mocktail with apple juice is just how easy it is to make, and with ingredients we often have to hand. No trip to the store hopefully!

It's also very versatile and can be adapted to dietary needs. OK with store-bought apple juice? Perfect. Need to use freshly pressed apple juice? That will be delicious too!

We balance the sweetness of the apple juice with a little hint of root ginger for some spice, and of course add some bubbles with sparkling water. No cook time, or need for any complicated kitchen equipment.

If you love the apple ginger combo, then check out my apple ginger juice which is a fun and healthy breakfast idea!

🍎 Ingredients

individually labelled apple juice, maple syrup, root ginger and sparkling water.

All the ingredients and their quantities are set out in the recipe card below.

Some notes to help guide you:

  • Apple juice - you can either use cloudy apple juice or clear apple juice from the store, or freshly pressed apple juice.
  • Ginger - you want to use fresh root ginger for this recipe rather than ground ginger.
  • Sparkling water - top your apple ginger mixture with sparkling water for some fun bubbles.

📖 Swaps and Variations

Adjust the ratio of apple juice and sparkling water. If you love your apple flavors, simply add a splash more juice!

Add a squeeze of lime juice or lemon juice. This adds a nice touch of acidity, but likely isn't suitable for low histamine readers.

💭 Recipe Tips and Notes

  • Make sure to give the ginger a good bash with your muddler! This will help it release the juices and give more flavor.
  • Use freshly pressed apple juice if you are sensitive to apple juice from a carton.
  • Adjust the quantities of apple juice and sparkling water to preference.

📋 Frequently Asked Questions
