💭 What is sweet paprika?
Most of us are well-versed with hot and smoked paprika, but perhaps aren't so familiar with sweet paprika. It doesn't have the same spicy 'kick' as hot paprika, but I think its milder sweetness works wonderfully on potato wedges and many other dishes.
🍠 Ingredients
All the ingredients and their quantities are set out in the recipe card below.
You only need five ingredients for this recipe:
- Sweet potato - choose as fresh as you can without skin that is too wrinkly.
- Sweet paprika - the main flavour, it adds a nice sweet taste. The Szeged sweet paprika is good.
- Cinnamon - optional but gives a hint of spice.
- Olive oil - to coat the sweet potato to bake.
- Salt - to season.
